Well, I am happy to report that we are all settled in at home in Pennsylvania. We have been on the road a lot for the past 2 weeks at horse shows and were able to bring home two blue ribbons with us!
A lot of people warned us that it was going to be very cold up here. Sam and I were expecting to get home Sunday to slightly cooler temperatures, but sure enough it was over 80 degrees when we got here. We have had quite a bit of rain for the last few days and that is cooling things off a little bit. No need for winter coats just yet!
Things are really nice here. We have really adapted faster than I thought we would. Here's a little funny story- Sam and I were riding 2 horses near the road one day when we saw an Amish buggy driving towards us on the road. Naturally, we are staring at them because it's not something we see every day (well, now we do), but when we looked closer, they were staring back at us! I guess they've never seen the big lick of a Tennessee Walking Horse before. It was really pretty funny.
Well, that's really it for now. I hope all of you are doing well and I'm sure we'll see you soon!
