OK, here is an update from TN...
This week my Dad and Stepmom came into town to visit for a few days. We had a lot of fun doing just about nothing. They were able to go to a horse show with us in Lebanon, TN where Sam won the Show Pleasure class on Ferrari. They also joined us in the win shot picture afterwards. Sam also won on Jose's Sweet Pepper the week before in the Show Pleasure Class in Nolensville, TN.
I saw my old doctor while in town since we have been away from home for so long. My doctor in PA requested that I have a check up just to be on the safe side. At the appointment my blood sugar level was really high and they sent me home for a few days to monitor it. I had a monitoring kit that required me to prick my finger 5 times a day to check my levels. At the follow up appointment, after looking at my recorded levels, they determined that my blood sugar was actually VERY healthy and they no longer believed that I was developing gestational diabetes. As it turns out, my levels spike after drinking sweet tea. They advised me to back off of sugary drinks/food, except on occassion, until the baby arrives. Other than that, the appointment went really well! Baby Mac is right on track with measurements and I have officially gained weight! I am now about 3-5 pounds heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight.
I will update again after the horse show...

Mom Mc's surgery

I just wanted to give you all an update on Mom Mc's surgery. She came in town two weeks ago to have tests run and to schedule surgery. Her surgery was sceduled for last Wednesday and she made it through with flying colors. Her doctor was able to remove 3 large tumors from her brain and many other small ones. He did not even count the little ones. The biggest of the large ones was about the size of a lemon. We have all rotated visiting her in the Baptist Hospital in Nashville. She is going to be able to come home to Shelbyville today. If all goes well, she will be able to go back to South Carolina this week. I am really amazed at how good she looks and how well she feels. Thank you all for thinking of her and praying for her. She REALLY appreciates it and is very grateful for her friends and family who love her so much!
