Gracelynn Marie Hensley
The baby mania has officially begun! All of Sam's and my sisters are pregnant. Today, the first of 4 babies to come this year has arrived!
Gracelynn Marie Hensley was born today at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center to my brother Adam, and his wife Kasi. Gracie weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces and measured 19 1/2 inches long. Her grandparents Denny & Sherry Givens and Karen Stewart were at the hospital as well as her Great-Grandmother, Marie Jeffcoat. Gracie is named after her maternal Grandmother, Sherry Lynn and her paternal Great-Grandmother, Marie.
I was not able to make it to Tennessee for her arrival but I was able to stay in close touch with my family over the phone. From what I can gather, she already has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger. I was doing OK over the phone until I heard her cry in the background. It made me cry too! It was just so overwhelming to imagine my big brother now as a father. I am so proud of both Adam and Kasi. They are going to make wonderful parents for this little girl.
